For those who haven’t heard the buzz around town yet, there is a new movement of music makers growing right here in San Diego. This movement is unique in that it is family friendly and welcomes people of all ages. Those who are a part of this movement are as diverse as the city of San Diego itself, but are joined by one common passion, MUSIC.
At Recreational Music Center we our blessed to find ourselves at the center of this music movement as we believe that music is for EVERYONE. It doesn’t matter how young, old, “gifted”, “not gifted”, skilled, unskilled, or any other reason, the ability to play a musical instruments is available to every man, women, and child. We make it our job to unveil the great value that learning to play music brings to each and everyone’s life and we make it very easy and affordable to start enjoying the benefits right away.
RMC is not your typical (traditional) music school and for that we are very unique. At RMC we teach our students the music that they want to learn and craft each lesson based on their individual goals. We understand that some people want to become professional 
musicians while others simply want to be able to play their favorite songs for recreation. No matter what their interests or reasonings behind taking music lessons we make sure that all of our students get a customized musical experience here at RMC. Our teachers are all degreed musicians that are able to making sure that their students get all of the tools needed to accomplish their own personal musical goals and become well-rounded musician at any level.
Bottom line, Recreational Music Center, is a true community music school. Founded by husband and wife team David and Leslie Gereghty and supported by the wonderful people of the greater San Diego community.
