We’re back in action and our Summer Music Camps are off to a great start! This year we have four, week-long camps scheduled and today we kicked off Day #1 of Camp #1. All day long campers got introduced to the guitar, drums, and keyboards some for the first time on one or more of these instruments.
RMC’s Summer Music Camps are designed to teach beginners – intermediate musicians how to play select parts from several popular songs on the guitar, piano, drums, and vocals. Each student will learn parts based on their prior music experience, so someone who has never played guitar before will get a introductory part while another student with a couple of years experience will get a more advanced part. Everyone is given a part that will lead them to successfully perform each instrument in a band context with the other campers. Bottom line: every student has fun because they are given the chance to succeed.
