Recreational Music Center’s extremely fun and incredibly popular Summer Music Camps are back for 2010. Plus, this year we have added two new Combined Summer Camps for those who wish to experience more than just music during the week-long summer camp. Our camps cover students entering kindergarten – 12 grade with dates beginning the first week in June going until the end of August. Registration is now open for all 3 of RMC’s camps summer camps, so don’t wait and sign up today!
Beginning and intermediate musicians age 9-15 are invited to experience the cool side of summer in our state-of-the-art music studio. At RMC’s Summer Music Camp students will rotate through the following stations each day: electric guitar, drums, keyboards, vocals, and band practice. You do not need to own your own instrument, nor do you need previous music experience to attend. Whether you’re a beginner and have always wanted to try these instruments or you already play an instrument and want to make music with others, you’ll have a blast! With a maximum of only 12 students per session, and 3-4 instructors at any given time, you will love the highly individualized instruction and the amount of attention you’ll receive at RMC! Enroll early as spaces fill quickly.

(drop-off between 9-10am, pick-up between 4-5pm)

The Da Vinci Camp is a collaborative camp with Recreational Music Center, Bravo School of Art, and the John
Harvard Academy. These week-long camps include the study of math and language (reading and writing) in preparation for next school year at the John Harvard Academy; Instrumental music lessons and guided practice at RMC; Art projects in the style of Van Gogh, Picasso, and more at Bravo School of Art.

Jammin’ in the Jungle – Art and Music Camp is a collaborative camp with Recreational Music Center, and Bravo School of Art. Join Bravo School of Art and RMC for a truly unique experience as we travel around the world through art and music! From the jungles of Africa to the rain forests of the Caribbean, you’ll be jammin’ on authentic instruments such as congas and steel drums throughout the morning. After lunch in the park, head over to the art studio for an afternoon of drawing, painting, collage and more!
AGES: 8-11
Session dates: August 2-6 and August 9-13
Time: 9am – 5pm
Cost: $299 + $50 materials fee
