Last Friday (July 17, 2009) the Point Loma Summer Concert Series kicked off it’s ninth annual concert event at the Point Loma Park on Catalina Blvd. The Recreational Music Center has the great privilage of participating in this amazing event by donating Guitar Hero World Tour video game and equipment that will be raffled off at each concert. In addition, we will have a table with information about our school at the event every week.

If you are not familiar with this event, it is a free concert sponsored by various businesses within the community and a fun night for the whole family. The concerts are every Friday night through August 14 starting at 6pm and goes until 8pm. Every week a different band performs music from a variety of different genres. Be sure to bring your friends and family, food, a blanket, chairs, and don’t forget your dancing shoes! We’ll see you there.
